Bring a thousand years of Kyoto into your space
Nishijin weavers weave each strand with their soul into
a unique piece of three-dimensional art.

Eternal Presence

Kimonos are kept in the chest of drawers, while folding screens are the focal point of the space. By constantly seeing them, they can bring good fortune and wealth, and become heirlooms that can be passed down for generations.

Living Art

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind item, with the artisan pouring his soul into it. The three-dimensional splendor of pure silk, gold and silver threads creates a timeless beauty.

Transformation of space

Japanese modern, in harmony with luxurious spaces. From hotel rooms to private residences. We don’t just create interiors, we “create the space itself.”

Toshikazu Naka

– Born in Kyoto in 1948.

Amidst poverty, he discovered Nishijin-ori and embarked on the path to prosperity by dealing in pure silk, gold thread, and silver thread.

With a track record of over 100 “Misaki Exhibitions,” she continues to work at her loom today with the mission of passing on the declining art of Nishijin weaving to the next generation.

Hikihaki Technique – Putting our soul into each and every piece

Each strand is carefully woven over a period of approximately one month. The traditional technique of weaving gold and silver threads into pure silk, known as “Hikihaku,” is an art that requires skilled technique and concentration.
